IGW-NRA Solution Overview

• Centralized International Gateway-National Revenue Assurance System by Creating a single gateway monitoring system
• The government should direct, “all carriers must allow monitoring of their traffic via IGW-NRA”, All local IGW and other operators  must allow direct access for lawful monitoring and control
• Install necessary equipment at the operator’s premises to have access to their call detail records
• All data about all international & domestic traffic will be monitored, A fee to be charged for all traffic for Voice & SMS traffic, The only proper way to deliver voice calls & SMSs through monitored equipment
• The IGW-NRA will only monitor the traffic & calculate charge the agreed fee
• The IGW-NRA acting as a central control point of all traffic, by monitoring the traffic will be able to detect & block sim cards and fixed telephone lines participating in grey route traffic
• The solution has two points of presence, one in the country & one in Switzerland
• The system will be “future proof” i.e. that it can accommodate higher traffic capacities, new technologies etc. (open end infrastructure)
